Pediatrician's Office Ransacked, Burglarized
On Nov. 8 at 7:43 a.m., Marple police responded to Broomall Pediatrics inside the Main Line Health building at 1991 South Sproul Road for a burglary reported. Upon arrival, police spoke with a receptionist at Broomall Pediatrics, who told polie that while she was opening the office that day she observed one of the offices inside Broomall Pediatrics had been ransacked sometime overnight. Police discovered a large pile of papers and manila envelopes on the floor as well as a filing cabinet and desk drawers open in the office. One of the desk drawers appeared to be broken off, said police. According to the receptionist, she was one of the last employees to leave the office the night before in which the room was not disarrayed. Police are further investigating this incident.
Insurance Office Burglarized, $3 Stolen
On Nov. 8 at 8:01 a.m., police responded to Crawford & Co. at 600 Reed Road for a reported burglary. Upon arrival, police spoke with an office manager at the company who stated that his secretary discovered someone had broken in and went through her desk. According to the secretary, $3 in cash was taken but nothing else. Upon further investigation, police said they discovered pry marks on the door and some wood chips lying on the floor. Police are further investigating this incident.
